FedEx Developer Platform Unified five tools into a single platform serving thousands of developers.

The FedEx Developer Platform serves thousands of developers daily for onboarding, API discovery, sandbox keys, and production credentials. Previously, five separate tools offered no unified experience.

During two and a half years at Tank Design, I led product and UX design for six user personas, collaborating with FedEx engineering and product teams to consolidate the platform into a single, governed solution.

The result is a redesigned platform that scales across business units, using shared patterns for API status, billing, webhooks, and account management. It is now used by thousands of FedEx developers worldwide.

Cognex A B2B product portal and catalog, redesigned to reflect actual buyer search behaviors.

Cognex produces machine-vision systems that inspect products such as Coca-Cola cans and iPhone cameras. The marketing and support sites needed to address both factory operators and procurement engineers while maintaining technical credibility.

I co-led experience design for a multi-property redesign, including marketing for cognex.com, MyCognex support, and the information architecture connecting them. I managed the process from user research through visual production.

The result is a streamlined path from product discovery to support, supported by an information architecture accepted by engineering, marketing, and customer success teams.

Dogfish Head A well-known craft brand, reimagined as an e-commerce platform while preserving its unique identity.

Dogfish Head is a craft beer brand with a distinctive personality: bold, unconventional, and dedicated. The previous site did not support the brand or its e-commerce goals.

I led experience design for the rebuild, balancing brand personality with the structural requirements of a Sitecore XM Cloud platform used daily by the marketing team.

The result is a brand-focused platform that supports editorial, product, and seasonal campaigns. The site is live at dogfish.com.

CDM Smith Twenty years of unmanaged content, restructured into a cohesive system.

CDM Smith is a global engineering firm with over $1 billion in revenue. Its content had accumulated over twenty years across six regions, with no shared component library or editorial governance.

As a Senior Experience Designer at Verndale, I led the complete redesign, from information architecture and content audit to the development of a 67-component design system for Sitecore XM Cloud.

The result is a unified visual language and a governed component set that regional teams can maintain. The site is currently live at cdmsmith.com.

Combining strategy and execution.

I work across the full spectrum of product design, including visual, interaction, UX, systems, and research. My experience is primarily with enterprise platforms and developer tools, where challenges are often undefined and stakes are high. Over the past decade at Verndale and Tank Design, I have partnered with engineering and product teams on the projects described above.
